Step-by-Step
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, or place paper liners in a mini-muffin pan.
- Beat the creamy peanut butter and confectioners’ sugar together until smooth and evenly combined.
- Gently fold in the completely thawed but cold whipped topping, taking care not to beat out its airy texture.
- Drop the mixture by rounded teaspoons or tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheet, or spoon it into the mini-muffin liners.
- Freeze the treats for about 1 to 2 hours, or until firm. Transfer them to an airtight freezer container for storage.
Notes
Use regular creamy peanut butter for the most reliable texture. If using natural peanut butter, stir it thoroughly first because separated oil can make the mixture loose or oily. Keep the whipped topping cold after thawing and fold it in gently.
