Ingredients
Method
Step-by-Step
- Trim the Brussels sprouts, cut them in half lengthwise, and dry them thoroughly.
- Toss the sprouts with olive oil, approximately 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, and freshly ground black pepper.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
- Arrange the sprouts in the air-fryer basket in a mostly single layer, placing them cut-side down when possible.
- Air-fry for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket or turning the sprouts halfway through, until browned outside and tender inside.
- While the sprouts cook, gently warm the pepper jelly with the apple cider vinegar until loosened and easy to pour or toss.
- Transfer the cooked sprouts to a bowl, toss with the pepper-jelly mixture, and serve immediately.
Notes
Dry the sprouts well for better browning, and cook in batches if the basket is crowded. Mild, hot, or jalapeño pepper jelly may be used. Warm the jelly only enough to loosen it because the sugar can burn if cooked directly in the air fryer.
