Tropical Green Smoothie

A creamy, fruit-forward green smoothie blending spinach, mango, pineapple, banana, coconut water, and lime into a refreshing drink for two.
Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 2 servings

Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach, lightly packed
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 banana medium ripe banana, preferably frozen
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
Optional Ingredient
  • 1/2 cup ice

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. Rinse the spinach and prepare the fruit. Peel and cut the banana into chunks if it is not already frozen.
  2. Pour the coconut water into the blender first, then add the spinach, banana, mango, pineapple, and lime juice.
  3. Blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high, for 45–60 seconds or until completely smooth.
  4. Add the ice if you want a colder or thicker smoothie, then blend briefly.
  5. Taste and adjust with a little more coconut water for a thinner drink or additional frozen fruit for more thickness. Serve immediately.

Notes

Add liquid before solid ingredients to help the blender form a smooth vortex. Frozen banana and frozen fruit create a thick, creamy texture without relying heavily on ice. Unsweetened almond milk, oat milk, or plain water may replace the coconut water.
