Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 750 ml bottle Chilled white wine, preferably Moscato, Riesling, or Pinot Grigio
  • 2 cups Frozen strawberries
  • 2 cups Frozen peach slices
Sweetener
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar or simple syrup, optional
Texture
  • 1-2 cups Ice, as needed for a thicker frozen texture
Garnish
  • as needed Fresh strawberries or peach slices, optional

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. If using fresh fruit, arrange the strawberries and peaches in a single layer on a tray and freeze until solid, preferably overnight.
  2. Pour the chilled white wine into a high-powered blender. Add the frozen strawberries, frozen peach slices, and optional sugar or simple syrup.
  3. Blend until smooth and slushy. Add ice gradually, using 1 to 2 cups as needed, until the drink reaches your preferred thick texture.
  4. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness if needed. Pour immediately into glasses and garnish with fresh strawberries or peach slices.

Notes

Use frozen fruit for bold flavor and a less watery texture. Sweet Moscato may not need added sugar, while Pinot Grigio may benefit from a little sweetener. Serve immediately because the slushie melts quickly.
