Step-by-Step
- Peel the kiwis and quarter them. Peel the banana and cut it into chunks so the fruit blends quickly and evenly.
- Pour the pineapple juice or orange juice into the blender first. Add the yogurt, coconut milk, or almond milk, followed by the banana, kiwi, pineapple, and ice if using fresh pineapple.
- Blend on high for 30–60 seconds, or until the smoothie is completely smooth and creamy. Stop once to scrape down the sides if needed.
- Taste the smoothie before sweetening it. Add 1–2 teaspoons of honey or maple syrup only if the fruit is not sweet enough, then blend briefly to combine.
- Pour into glasses and serve immediately. If the smoothie is too thick, blend in a small splash of juice or milk until it reaches your preferred consistency.
Notes
Use very ripe kiwi and banana for the best flavor and natural sweetness. Freeze pineapple or banana ahead of time for a thicker, colder smoothie. Frozen pineapple usually eliminates the need for additional ice.
