Step-by-Step
- Pour the milk, almond milk, or orange juice into the blender first. Add the vanilla yogurt, frozen peach slices, frozen pineapple chunks, cinnamon, nutmeg, and optional honey or brown sugar.
- Blend on high for 45–90 seconds, or until the fruit is fully broken down and the smoothie is thick and smooth. Pause once to scrape down the sides if needed.
- Check the consistency before serving. If it is too thick, blend in 1–2 additional tablespoons of liquid; if it is too thin, add additional frozen fruit and blend again.
- Pour immediately into two glasses. Sprinkle graham-cracker crumbs over the top or use them to rim the glasses for a stronger pie-crust flavor.
Notes
Use frozen fruit instead of ice for a naturally thick, cold texture. Greek yogurt may be substituted for vanilla yogurt when you want a thicker, more filling smoothie. Sweeten after blending because the natural sweetness of peaches and pineapple can vary.
