Ingredients

Smoothie Ingredients
  • 2 cups Frozen peach slices
  • 1 cup Frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup Vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Milk, almond milk, or orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Graham-cracker crumbs

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. Pour the milk, almond milk, or orange juice into the blender first. Add the vanilla yogurt, frozen peach slices, frozen pineapple chunks, cinnamon, nutmeg, and optional honey or brown sugar.
  2. Blend on high for 45–90 seconds, or until the fruit is fully broken down and the smoothie is thick and smooth. Pause once to scrape down the sides if needed.
  3. Check the consistency before serving. If it is too thick, blend in 1–2 additional tablespoons of liquid; if it is too thin, add additional frozen fruit and blend again.
  4. Pour immediately into two glasses. Sprinkle graham-cracker crumbs over the top or use them to rim the glasses for a stronger pie-crust flavor.

Notes

Use frozen fruit instead of ice for a naturally thick, cold texture. Greek yogurt may be substituted for vanilla yogurt when you want a thicker, more filling smoothie. Sweeten after blending because the natural sweetness of peaches and pineapple can vary.
