Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 box (7.25 oz) Kraft-style macaroni and cheese dinner, including cheese sauce packet
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 can (8 oz) Refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. Heat the oven to 375°F and line or lightly grease a baking sheet. Cook the macaroni according to the package directions, then drain it well.
  2. Stir the drained macaroni together with the butter, milk, and enclosed cheese sauce packet. Let the macaroni and cheese cool for approximately 10 minutes before filling the dough.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle lengthwise in half to create 16 smaller triangles.
  4. Place about 1 tablespoon of macaroni and cheese near the wide end of each dough triangle. Keep the filling modest so the dough can wrap around it and stay sealed.
  5. Roll each piece from the wide end toward the point, pinching or pressing the dough around the filling as needed. Place each roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is puffed and golden brown. Serve the crescent bombs warm.

Notes

Cooling the macaroni and cheese makes the filling easier to handle and helps keep the crescent dough from becoming soft. Do not overfill; about 1 tablespoon per triangle helps prevent cheese from leaking. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator and reheat until warm.
