Prep Time 15 minutes
Total Time 45 minutes
Servings: 6 servings

Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 6 medium Medium apples, cored and chopped
  • 6 bars Full-size Snickers bars, chopped
Creamy Dressing
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) Instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup Cold milk
  • 1 container (8 ounces) Frozen whipped topping, thawed
Optional Topping
  • As needed for drizzling or serving Caramel sauce

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. Whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk in a large bowl for 1–2 minutes, until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened.
  2. Fold the thawed whipped topping into the pudding mixture until evenly combined and creamy.
  3. Core and chop the apples into bite-size pieces. Peeling is optional, and leaving the peel on adds color and a pleasant fresh texture.
  4. Chop the six Snickers bars into small chunks, reserving some pieces for the topping.
  5. Gently fold the chopped apples and most of the Snickers pieces into the pudding mixture, taking care not to crush the fruit or candy.
  6. Transfer the salad to a serving bowl, scatter the reserved Snickers pieces over the top, and drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving. Serve the same day for the crispest apples and the best candy texture.

Notes

Choose crisp, slightly tart apples such as Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or a combination. Chop the apples shortly before mixing, fold gently, and avoid extended refrigeration because the apples can release moisture and the Snickers pieces can soften.
