Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 32 ounces Frozen fully cooked meatballs
  • 12 ounces Chili sauce
  • 18 ounces Grape jelly

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. Add the frozen, fully cooked meatballs to the slow cooker. There is no need to thaw them first.
  2. Spoon the grape jelly and chili sauce over the meatballs. Stir gently so the sauce begins coating the meatballs without breaking them.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or on HIGH for 1½–2 hours, until the meatballs are hot throughout and the sauce is smooth.
  4. If convenient, stir once or twice during cooking. Transfer the slow cooker to WARM for serving and offer toothpicks or small serving forks.

Notes

For the smoothest sauce, add the jelly and chili sauce first and stir them together as they warm, or stir carefully after the first 30–45 minutes. A slow-cooker liner makes cleanup easier. For variations, replace part or all of the grape jelly with cranberry sauce, or add 1–2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce or a pinch of cayenne.
