Prep Time 15 minutes
Total Time 4 minutes
Servings: 8 servings

Ingredients

Crust
  • 1 9-inch crust Prepared graham-cracker pie crust
Peanut Butter Filling
  • 1 8-ounce package Cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 8-ounce container Frozen whipped topping, thawed

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. Beat the softened cream cheese and creamy peanut butter together until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.
  2. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then beat again until fully combined and creamy.
  3. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping with a spatula until no visible streaks remain. Do not beat the mixture after adding the topping.
  4. Spoon the filling into the prepared 9-inch graham-cracker crust and smooth the top.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the firmest texture. Slice the pie cold and add your favorite garnish before serving.

Notes

Use standard creamy, shelf-stable peanut butter for the most reliable texture. Bring cream cheese to room temperature to prevent lumps, and fold in the whipped topping gently so the filling stays light.
