Easy No-Bake Nutella Pie

A creamy chocolate-hazelnut pie made with Nutella, cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and whipped topping in a chocolate-cookie crust. This no-bake dessert makes one 9-inch pie with about 8 servings.
Prep Time 15 minutes
Total Time 4 minutes
Servings: 8 servings

Ingredients

Filling
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Nutella or other chocolate-hazelnut spread
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces Whipped topping, thawed, such as Cool Whip
Crust
  • 1 crust Prepared 9-inch chocolate-cookie or chocolate-graham-cracker crust
Optional Homemade Cookie Crust
  • 24 cookies Chocolate sandwich cookies, finely crushed
  • 5 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. If making the homemade crust, combine 24 finely crushed chocolate sandwich cookies with 5 tablespoons melted unsalted butter. Press the mixture firmly into a 9-inch pie plate and chill for about 30 minutes.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese until completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the Nutella, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until the mixture is fully combined and creamy.
  4. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until no white streaks remain, taking care not to overmix.
  5. Spread the filling evenly into the prepared 9-inch crust.
  6. Cover the pie and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm enough to slice. Overnight chilling is also an excellent option.
  7. Serve cold with optional whipped cream, chocolate shavings, chopped hazelnuts, or a light Nutella drizzle.

Notes

Use fully softened cream cheese for a smooth filling. Fold in the whipped topping gently to preserve the airy texture. For especially clean slices, chill overnight or place the pie in the freezer for 20 to 30 minutes just before serving.
