Ingredients
Method
Step-by-Step
- Add the apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, optional garlic, kosher salt, and freshly ground black pepper to a small bowl or jar.
- Whisk the vinegar mixture until the honey and mustard are fully incorporated and the seasoning is evenly distributed.
- Slowly drizzle in the extra-virgin olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing looks glossy and emulsified.
- For the jar method, add all ingredients to a jar, seal it tightly, and shake vigorously for 20 to 30 seconds.
- Taste the vinaigrette and adjust with more honey for sweetness, more vinegar for acidity, or additional salt and pepper as needed.
- Use immediately or refrigerate in a covered container for up to 1 week. Shake or whisk again before serving.
Notes
Let the dressing rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving so the garlic and mustard flavors develop. If it thickens in the refrigerator, let it sit briefly at room temperature and shake well. Garlic is optional.
