Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 clove Small garlic clove, finely minced or grated
Seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. Add the apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, optional garlic, kosher salt, and freshly ground black pepper to a small bowl or jar.
  2. Whisk the vinegar mixture until the honey and mustard are fully incorporated and the seasoning is evenly distributed.
  3. Slowly drizzle in the extra-virgin olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing looks glossy and emulsified.
  4. For the jar method, add all ingredients to a jar, seal it tightly, and shake vigorously for 20 to 30 seconds.
  5. Taste the vinaigrette and adjust with more honey for sweetness, more vinegar for acidity, or additional salt and pepper as needed.
  6. Use immediately or refrigerate in a covered container for up to 1 week. Shake or whisk again before serving.

Notes

Let the dressing rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving so the garlic and mustard flavors develop. If it thickens in the refrigerator, let it sit briefly at room temperature and shake well. Garlic is optional.
