1 12-ounce bag Green candy melts or green vanilla-flavored melting wafers
40-50 pretzels Small pretzel twists
40-50 hearts Small red heart-shaped sprinkles or heart candies

Method

Step-by-Step

Line a baking sheet or large plate with parchment paper or waxed paper so the coated pretzels can set without sticking.
Place the green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at 50% power in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each interval, until smooth.
Dip each small pretzel twist into the melted candy using a fork to turn it and lift it out. Allow excess coating to drip back into the bowl.
Transfer each coated pretzel to the lined baking sheet or plate. While the coating is still wet, immediately place one red heart sprinkle near the bottom or center of the pretzel.
Refrigerate the decorated pretzels for 10–15 minutes, or until the green coating is firm. Store the finished snacks in an airtight container at room temperature.

Notes

Melt the candy slowly and stir between every microwave interval because overheating can make the coating thick and difficult to dip. Add the red heart while the coating is wet; if it starts to set, briefly rewarm the candy or use a small dab of melted coating as glue.
