Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 chops Boneless pork chops, about ¾–1 inch thick
  • 1 10.5-ounce can Condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet, about 1 ounce Dry onion soup mix
  • ¼ cup Water
Seasoning
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Black pepper
Optional Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic powder

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. Season four boneless pork chops lightly with salt and black pepper, using less salt than usual because the condensed soup and onion soup mix already contain salt.
  2. Whisk the cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix, and water together in a bowl until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined. Stir in the optional garlic powder if desired.
  3. Place the seasoned pork chops in the slow cooker and pour the soup mixture over them, spreading it so each chop is coated.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or on HIGH for 3–4 hours. Check thinner chops early and continue cooking until the pork reaches at least 145°F in the center.
  5. Let the pork rest for 3 minutes after it reaches the safe temperature. Stir the gravy, spoon it over the chops, and serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.

Notes

Boneless pork loin chops can become dry if overcooked, so check thinner chops early. For deeper flavor, quickly sear the chops in a hot skillet before placing them in the slow cooker. Cream of chicken soup may replace the cream of mushroom soup, and bone-in chops generally stay moister but may need slightly longer cooking.
