Step-by-Step
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (205°C) for about 3–5 minutes. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels, then rub both sides with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, stir together the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, fine sea salt, and black pepper. Coat both sides of each pork chop evenly with the seasoning mixture.
- Arrange the seasoned pork chops in a single layer in the air-fryer basket, leaving space between them. Cook for 5–6 minutes.
- Turn the pork chops and cook for another 5–6 minutes. Check the thickest part with an instant-read thermometer and remove the chops when they reach 145°F (63°C).
- Transfer the pork chops to a plate and let them rest for 3–5 minutes before serving. Resting allows the juices to settle so each bite stays moist.
Notes
Use pork chops with a similar thickness for even cooking. Very thin chops may need less time, while thicker chops may need several additional minutes. Always use an instant-read thermometer rather than relying only on the clock, and avoid overcrowding the air-fryer basket.
