Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 8 minutes
Total Time 20 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Sirloin steak, cut into approximately 1-inch cubes
  • 8 slices Regular-cut bacon, each slice cut into thirds
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Steak seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, optional
Seasoning Alternative
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
Equipment
  • 24 toothpicks Wooden toothpicks

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. Pat the steak dry with paper towels and cut it into evenly sized pieces approximately 1 inch wide.
  2. Toss the steak cubes with 1 teaspoon steak seasoning and the optional Worcestershire sauce. If you do not have steak seasoning, use 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
  3. Cut each bacon slice into thirds. Wrap one bacon piece around each steak cube, avoiding excessive overlap, and secure the bacon with a wooden toothpick.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for about 3 minutes if your appliance recommends preheating.
  5. Arrange the steak bites in a single layer with space between them. Air-fry at 400°F for approximately 8–12 minutes, turning or shaking halfway through.
  6. Check the steak with an instant-read thermometer. Remove the bites at approximately 130–135°F for medium-rare or 140–145°F for medium, making sure the bacon is browned and cooked through.
  7. Let the bacon-wrapped steak bites rest for 3–5 minutes before serving. Remove toothpicks carefully or leave them in place for easy appetizer serving.

Notes

Use regular-cut bacon because it wraps easily and crisps within the cooking time needed for the steak. Thick bacon may need an additional 2–4 minutes. Cook in batches rather than overcrowding the air fryer basket.
