Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 8 servings

Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Dill pickles, finely chopped and drained
  • 2 tablespoons Dill-pickle juice
Seasonings
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • as needed Salt, to taste

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. Allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature. Briefly beat it in a mixing bowl until smooth, then mix in the sour cream.
  2. Stir in the finely chopped and well-drained dill pickles, pickle juice, chopped fresh dill, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Taste the dip before adding salt because the pickles and pickle juice are already salty. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Notes

Use 1 teaspoon dried dill weed if fresh dill is unavailable. If the chilled dip becomes too thick, stir in 1–2 teaspoons pickle juice. Refrigerate leftovers in a covered container.
