Step-by-Step
- Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Drain the artichoke hearts thoroughly, gently squeeze out excess liquid, and finely chop them.
- Add the chopped artichokes, mayonnaise, freshly grated Parmesan, and minced garlic to a mixing bowl. Stir until the ingredients are evenly combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a small baking dish with approximately 1-quart capacity. Spread the top into an even layer.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbling around the edges, and lightly browned on top. For extra color, broil for 1–2 minutes while watching closely.
- Serve immediately with toasted baguette slices, crackers, pita chips, or raw vegetables. The dip is at its creamiest and most scoopable while warm.
Notes
Drain the artichokes very well so the dip does not become thin or watery. Freshly grated Parmesan melts more smoothly and offers better flavor than shelf-stable grated cheese. Garlic powder can replace the fresh garlic; use 1/4 teaspoon.
