Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds Baby or small Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 1 envelope, about 1.8 ounces or 47 grams Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup & Dip Mix
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
Optional Ingredients
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and dry them very well. Halve the baby potatoes, quartering any larger pieces so all of the potatoes are similar in size.
  2. Add the potatoes to a large bowl. Pour in the olive oil, sprinkle over the Lipton Onion Soup & Dip Mix, and add the black pepper if using; toss until every piece is coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) if your appliance requires preheating. Arrange the potatoes in a single layer, preferably with the cut sides facing down.
  4. Air-fry the potatoes for 15–22 minutes. Shake the basket or turn the potatoes after about 8–10 minutes so they brown evenly.
  5. Continue cooking until the potatoes are fork-tender and the edges are crisp and deeply browned. If the pieces are larger, they may need 22–25 minutes.
  6. Transfer the potatoes to a serving bowl and sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot while the seasoned edges are at their crispest.

Notes

The soup mix is already salty, so additional salt is usually unnecessary. Dry the potatoes thoroughly and avoid overcrowding the basket; cook in batches if needed. Store leftovers in the refrigerator and reheat in the air fryer until hot and crisp.
