Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 ears Fresh ears corn, husked and silk removed
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil or melted butter
Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika or sweet paprika
Optional Finishes
  • 2 tablespoons Finely grated Parmesan
  • as needed Chopped parsley

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. Husk the corn, remove all silk, rinse only if needed, and pat the ears completely dry. Brush each ear with olive oil or melted butter.
  2. Stir together the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked or sweet paprika. Sprinkle the seasoning over the corn while turning each ear so every side is coated.
  3. Arrange the seasoned corn in a single layer in the air-fryer basket, leaving space around each ear for air circulation. Cook at 380 to 400°F for 10 to 15 minutes, turning every 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Check that the kernels are tender and lightly browned or charred. Add Parmesan, extra butter, and chopped parsley immediately after cooking, then serve hot.

Notes

Dry the corn thoroughly before coating it, and do not overcrowd the basket. Very large ears may need an additional 2 to 4 minutes. Frozen corn generally takes about 15 to 18 minutes and should also be turned during cooking.
