Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 10 servings

Ingredients

Cheeseball
  • 2 8-ounce packages Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1-ounce package Dry ranch dressing-and-seasoning mix
  • 1 5-ounce jar Dried beef, finely chopped
Coating
  • 1 cup Pecans, finely chopped

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. Allow the cream cheese to soften to room temperature. Place it in a bowl with the ranch dressing-and-seasoning mix and mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Stir in the finely chopped dried beef until it is distributed evenly throughout the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Shape the mixture into one ball. Roll it in the finely chopped pecans, pressing gently so the coating adheres.
  4. Serve immediately with crackers, or refrigerate for about 1 hour until firm. If fully chilled, let the cheeseball stand briefly at room temperature before serving.

Notes

Softening the cream cheese first helps the ranch seasoning blend smoothly. Finely chop the dried beef and pecans so the cheeseball holds together well. Chilling is optional but recommended for a firmer texture and cleaner slicing.
