Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 8-ounce jar Grape jelly
  • 1 12-ounce bottle Tomato-based chili sauce
  • 1 2-pound package Frozen, fully cooked meatballs

Method

Step-by-Step
  1. Add the grape jelly and chili sauce to the slow cooker. Stir until the two ingredients are reasonably combined.
  2. Add the frozen, fully cooked meatballs and stir gently so the sauce coats them as evenly as possible.
  3. Cover and cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours. Stir once or twice if convenient, until the meatballs are hot throughout and the sauce is smooth and bubbling.
  4. Serve directly from the slow cooker. For a party or buffet, switch the appliance to the Warm setting after cooking.

Notes

Do not thaw the meatballs first. For more heat, choose a hot tomato-based chili sauce or add a small pinch of crushed red pepper. An 18-ounce jar of grape jelly can be used with the same 12-ounce bottle of chili sauce for a sweeter, more generously sauced result.
